As you walk along White Beach in Boracay, you’ll be offered countless excursions and activities, and it can get a bit repetitive and overwhelming. But we finally gave in one evening and tried the crystal kayak during sunset, and I have no regrets.
For about 30 minutes, you’re given a crystal-clear kayak, a paddle, and life jackets. We went at sunset, so we got to watch the sun dip below the horizon while floating on the ocean which is a truly memorable experience. If you’re not big on high-adventure activities (like me), this is a calm and beautiful option.
One fun thing to note: the workers in Boracay really know how to take amazing photos! They’ll get all the best angles, adjust the exposure just right, and make the water look incredible in the background.
Is the crystal kayak a bit of a gimmick? Maybe. But honestly, the views and the experience are totally worth it.
