Lê Phin

A Cafe in East Village

New York, USA

THE SUMMARY

Overall Score: 3
Wifi: True
Music Score: 3
Plugs: Few

Le Phin is a cozy Vietnamese café tucked away in the East Village. I ordered the pandan matcha latte, and let me tell you—it was SO good! Though the matcha powder wasn’t very bright on its own, their syrup really made it pop. They also had great jazzy music playing in the background, making for a relaxed vibe.

Real-time notes from the cafe:

However, the space is very small with just 4 seats in total and only one table suitable for working. It’s also a bit noisy, so you’ll likely hear people talking while you’re there.

The café has a cute window seat, perfect for people-watching or journaling. If you’re just looking to hang out or do some journaling, it’s a nice spot, and the Wi-Fi is great—but keep in mind, there’s no washroom (rip to the ibs girlies).
