During my visit to Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao in Manhattan, I tried their noodles, pickled cucumbers, and of course, their famous xiao long bao (XLB). While the line can get quite long, it’s definitely worth the wait—just make sure to put your name down and enjoy walking around the area while you wait.
The XLB and cucumbers were so good, but I wasn’t a big fan of the noodles. I usually prefer more al dente, chewy noodles, but the ones here were a bit too soft for my liking, almost like they had been sitting in soup for too long.
During the meal, we were moved to a different table, but the staff was very accommodating and gave us two of their signature drinks as an apology, which was a nice touch!
